# Switching accounts

One sign-in can belong to more than one tiny+ account.

A consultant who works with two firms, or a group with a separate tiny+ account for each practice, can use one sign-in for all of them. Your email address and password are the same everywhere; each account gives you a role and a team member record of its own.

## Switching

Open the cog menu at the top right. Under **Switch accounts** is every account you belong to, with the current one marked *(active)*. Choose another and tiny+ opens it. Signing in always starts you in the same first account, so switch after signing in if you need another.

## What's shared and what isn't

Shared by your sign-in: your password, [two-factor authentication](/guides/how-tos/enabling-two-factor-authentication.md), and your name.

Separate in each account: your role and permissions, your team member record and its time zone, your notification settings, which scheduled reports you get, and your home page.

Each account notifies you from its own team member record, so you can get a digest from each one.

## Adding someone who's already on tiny+

An Account Admin adds them under **Account Settings -> Users** the same way as anyone else, with the email address they already sign in with. They get the usual invitation. If they already have a password they can ignore the link in it and just sign in; following it sets a new password, which applies everywhere. They take a seat in each account they belong to.

On a phone, push notifications come from the account you last signed in to in the app.
